Dr Clare Roberts

Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist and Specialist in Strabismus
Dr. Roberts specialises in the assessment and management of children presenting with a wide range of eye problems, and in managing adults with strabismus (misaligned eyes). She has wide experience of management of strabismus with botulinum toxin, adjustable strabismus surgery and strabismus surgery under topical anaesthesia. She has run the paediatric ophthalmology service of a major London teaching hospital (Imperial College NHS Trust) and has published research in both strabismus and paediatric ophthalmology.
Dr. Roberts studied medicine at both Cambridge and Oxford Universities. She trained in ophthalmology at Southampton Eye Unit, moving to Moorfields in London to complete her training with a fellowship in Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology with John Lee and Gillian Adams. She has international experience having spent periods working in Cape Town and Madrid before returning to Moorfields London as a locum consultant.
