Dr Sciscio trained in corneal surgery before undertaking a Fellowship in Oculoplastics under the guidance of Mr Richard Collin at MEHD, acquiring in depth knowledge in the management of complex lid malposition, ptosis correction, lid tumours, as well as lachrymal pathology and socket/orbital disease. He has published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals and presented extensively at international meetings. He maintains an active interest in research ensuring his patients the latest technology in the field.
Dr Sciscio graduated with honours in Italy before starting his Ophthalmology training in the UK, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 1998. His basic research interest is in ocular biomechanics.
