ExpatWoman group visits Moorfields

Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai (MEHD) was delighted to host the visit of 30 ladies at the recent ExpatWoman Coffee Morning social gathering at the Hospital, where they met senior consultants, learned more about eye treatments available and toured the hospital’s impressive new facilities. They also had the chance to ask questions and learn about advanced techniques for laser eye surgery, anti-aging surgery and cornea treatments available at the hospital.

The group was met by the hospital’s senior team and welcomed warmly by Dr Chris Canning, CEO and Medical Director of MEHD. After a brief orientation – and some coffee and refreshments – the ladies toured the hospital in two smaller groups, led by Pat Simons, Chief Nurse and Operating Officer.

Back from the tour, Dr Edmondo Borasio, Consultant Corneal and Refractive Surgeon, explained some of the treatment options available at the hospital including laser refractive surgery, blade free intralase surgery, plastic surgery, corneal graft and others, and then answered questions from the enthusiastic group.
