Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai (Moorfields) and HAYATI Healthcare, the Middle East region’s first ever dedicated Patient Financing company, have announced an agreement through which patients at Moorfields can access the financial services and benefits offered by HAYATI. HAYATI’s financial services are designed for those without medical insurance or in cases where the medical insurance policy does not cover the treatment required, such as LASIK eye surgery or cosmetic surgery.

HAYATI Healthcare provides medical loans for elective and non-elective medical procedures which medical insurance companies do not cover and is now available for all forms of specialist eye treatment at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai. HAYATI Healthcare Financing ™ will allow Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai patients to make convenient and affordable repayments over time, instead of paying 'up-front' cash payments prior to treatment.

For example, financing for LASIK corrective eye surgery through HAYATI Healthcare could result in monthly repayments of as little as Dhs750 per month over 24 months (subject to personal credit history and terms). Dr Chris Canning, CEO and Medical Director of Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, added: “It is not enough to build a world class eye hospital; an important part of our mandate is to ensure that we create access to our services for as many patients as possible across the region, and the agreement with HAYATI Healthcare is a significant step in this direction.”
